To replicate your existing B&R Status Report select the following criteria: FY = 2007 Fiscal Month = Jan Report Type = All B&R Include Report Summary = No (no Subtotals) Budget Reference Group = Default to no criteria Fund Type = Default to no criteria OCL Code = Default to no criteria B&R Code = Default to no criteria Funding Org Level 1 = Select your L1 You would run this report: To do funds control management at the funding string level

Selecting different fund types, OCL’s or B&R’s allow you to run a subset of your larger report

It is more like a cost browser view. • You may want to run this report: • To review activity by project or do funds control management by project • To show balances/activity by project to division management or a PI • This report is more useful in places where you’ve allocated your funding down to individual projects

11. BLIS Funds Control Reporting Funding/Guidance Details by Fiscal Month This report will show you the funding and guidance details of a particular B&R or funding set. This report would be useful to show the history of how incremental funding or guidance amounts arrived. (Specify Funding or Guidance in the report criteria selection) This replaces the detailed Guidance Report spreadsheet that used to be posted on the web.

BLIS Funds Control Reporting Funds Not Distributed to Projects This report answers the question: “Do I have funds that need to be allocated down to a project level?” This report will show you any current funds assigned to you by the Budget Office that you have not specified a project for in the Budget System. You may want to run this report if you are expecting new funds.
