How we got started • An invitation from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations (OHF) to be a part of the Rural Homeless Initiative of Southeast and Central Ohio (RHISCO) • OHF presentation given at a monthly meeting of the Perry County Family and Children First Council McCaulay, COHHIO Conference, 2008.
Phase one: Capacity building • Attended regional trainings and state and national conferences (RHISCO, COHHIO, National Alliance to End Homelessness) • Held Perry Housing Coalition (PHC) monthly meetings McCaulay, COHHIO Conference, 2008.
Phase two: Strategic planning • Wrote a ten-year plan to end homelessness • Submitted a proposal to OHF for implementation grant • Held PHC planning retreat McCaulay, COHHIO Conference, 2008.
