Flowers and leaves grow toward the Sun because of phototropism.
Gravitropism • Gravitropism can also be called geotropism. • It is when stems grow upward and roots grow downward.
Gravitropism • Roots show positivegravitropism because they grow in the same direction as the gravitational pull. • Stems show negativegravitropism because they grow in the opposite direction as the gravitational pull.
Hydrotropism • Hydrotropism- when roots grow toward a water source
