  2. 21 Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?

  3. 23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”

  4. 24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use,

  5. it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.

  6. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have,

  7. even what he has will be taken away from him.”

  8. Light Has its PURPOSES V. 21

  9. John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time.

  10. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

  11. John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?

  12. He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

  19. for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

  20. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

  21. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

  22. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

  24. 2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,

  25. that each one may receive the things done in the body,

  26. Rom. 14:12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

  29. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,and books were opened. And another book was opened,

  30. which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

  31. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.

  32. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

  33. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

  34. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

  35. Num. 32:23 But if you do not do so, then take note, you have sinned against the Lord;

  36. and be sure your sin will find you out.

  37. Prov. 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,

  38. But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

  39. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins

  40. and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

  41. Psalm 32:3-5 3 When I kept silent, my bones grew oldThrough my groaning all the day long.

  42. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;My vitality was turned into the drought of summer.

  43. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”And You forgave the iniquity of my sin.

  45. Matt. 28:19-20 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,

  46. baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

  47. 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;

  48. and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
