Different Modes of Game • Arcade Mode • Quest Mode • Training Mode
Arcade Mode • Based on the classic arcade version of the title • Fight each character once at increasing difficulty levels • Outdated in today’s market
Quest Mode • Basis of multiple arcades to battle through to build up the character • Each Arcade has specific goals set before the character can enter a tournament for that arcade • To proceed to the next arcade, the character must finish within the top 3 winner slots
Quest Mode cont… • Reward system is based on an increase in rank, and money to purchase items • Ranking system is 10KYU – 1KYU, 1DAN – 10DAN, Warrior – Champion. • Offers hours upon hours of entertainment
Training Mode • Excellent tool for practicing and mastering your character’s fighting style. • Proven tool for newer game players • Does not allow for combat against a certain skill level set
Game Play • Feel of realism when battling • The timing and precision of each move appears as it should look • Constantly changing fighting styles requiring constantly changing strategies
Technical • Fluidity of motion • Natural set of controls • No excessive combinations needed to win game
Fluidity of motion • Based on the way each Character moves • Attention to detail by programmers • Human Physiology taken into account at the design level
Natural set of controls • VF4E allows for any button on the PS2 controller to be reprogrammed into almost any combination • Allows for veteran console players to feel at ease as soon as they enter the fighting environment
Combination Structure • Past fighting games required intense combinations to win against an opponent • Gave the A.I. an unfair advantage against the average player. Thus decreasing the enjoyment level • VF4E allows for combinations to be formed based on just a small handful of easy button combinations
