  3. Slide 3 – Flag! (: ~Pakistan’s flag has a green with a vertical white band on it that symbolizes religious minorities. On the green side is has a large white crescent and a star that are centered in a field of green. (which are traditional symbols of Islam.)

  9. Slide 9 – Travel Concerns! **Here are a 3 concerns that someone traveling to Pakistan should and must be aware of: ~A few extremist groups Are targeting Pakistan officials and U.S. citizens! Actions including Suicide missions, car jacking's, bombing, assaults, etc. ~ Broken laws in Pakistan your passport could and may not help you avoid arrest or prosecution! ~ Some criminal penalties are: the possession of illegal drugs and if you take pictures of certain buildings!

  10. Slide 10 – Special Circumstances! Personal checks aren’t commonly accepted! (Outside major cities.) Many Pakistani’s don’t use checking accounts! Even credit cards and traveler checks aren’t accepted! (outside major cities.)

  11. Slide 11 – Tourist Site#1: Karachi! • Karachi is the capital of the province Sindh and is the largest city, main seaport! • It is a popular destination because of its banking, industry and economic activity!

  12. Slide 12 – Tourist Site #2: Islamabad!! Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and the 10th city in the country! Islamabad is a popular destination because of its mosques! Like the Faisal Mosque, which is the largest mosque in South Asia and the 10th largest in the world!!

  13. Slide 13 – Tourist Site #3: Multan! Multan is located in Punjab, Pakistan! Multan is a popular destination because of its financial and business. It is also well known for its industrial homes!! OMG the Muslims are hanging onto a train in Multan!!! 

  14. Slide 14 – Impressions! Some interesting facts I learned were… : Their total Muslim population is 178,097,000!!! (that’s a lot..) Their world ranking in the gas production is 23!! Their main branch of Islam that is practiced: Sunni! 
