  6. Guarantee Home Program (TEP) • Program launched 1998 • Based on Integrated Building Science • Quality Assurance Inspections and Testing • 5 yr Guarantee for Heating/Cooling Costs and Comfort • Lower electric rate • Rebates paid to builders • 50% of the market share in TEP’s service territory

  7. Energy Smart Home (UNSE & UNSG) • Programs launched 2008 • Market Transformation Program • Based on Integrated Building Science • Quality Assurance Inspections and Testing • Meets 2006 Energy Star Requirements • Rebates paid to Builders

  8. Efficient Home Cooling (TEP and UNSE) • Programs Launched 2008 • Rebates for installation of high efficiency AC and Heat Pumps with 14+ SEER Ratings • Save up to 20% of your cooling costs • Rebates directly to customers up to $250 per unit • Contractors receive $25/unit for each installation

Efficient Home Heating (UNSG) • Rebates for installation of high efficiency furnaces with 90+ AFUE • Save up to $1,960 in heating costs over lifetime of equipment (Flagstaff) • Rebates directly to customers up to $325 per unit • Contractors receive $25/unit for each installation • Program Launched 2008

Shade Trees (TEP and UNSE) TEP: Trees for Tucson • Trees for Tucson purchases and delivers trees • TEP provides funding to Trees for Tucson • Customer pays $8.00 per tree (total cost to customer) • Each tree will reduce cooling costs by up to $350 over it’s lifetime • Program Launch 2005 UNSE: Trees for You • UNSE provides coupons to customers • Customer purchases trees from retailer • UNSE credits $15.00 per tree to customer bill • Each tree will reduce cooling costs by up to $350 over it’s lifetime • Program Launch 2009
