Operational traffic management task belongs to TMC TMC executes instruments/measures to match demand and supply for the optimalization of the traffic flows By delivering reliable and real time travel time information, act in case of breakdowns and incidents and managing traffic supply Responsibilities, tasks and position not uniform and not always clear Maintenance of instruments not uniform Differences between occupation (fte’s) and staff titles, tasks and payment Skills, education, background of the staff is comparable Copenhagen, 16 June 2008
