Job Idioms At Sarah’s last job, her boss complained that she wasn’t a team player. She couldn’t understand. She felt like she was working like a dog for the company and during crunch time she was the one who put in extra hours. After that, Sarah started bad mouthing her boss to all her coworkers. Unfortunately, her boss found out and she got the axe. Now she is between jobs. Eventually, she will find a new job and have to learn the ropes all over again. She hopes to find a boss she works well with and climb the corporate ladder.

This is McKinlee. She is my best friend’s daughter. She was born on May 17, 2011. I remember that day clearly. That was the same day I finished my teaching credential. Shortly after she was born, I moved to China. When I left she still could not walk or talk. Now she can do both! She loves to play games, watch cartoons, and draw pictures. Last August, McKinlee’s sister was born. I wish that I could see them everyday. I don’t know what McKinlee wants to be when she grows up, but I hope she lives life to the fullest and always knows how much she’s loved.
