SMEthane 1st SMEthane Workshop ‘The Importance of Measuring Methane Production from Ruminant Livestock – the reason why we are doing this project’ When: 21st - 22nd September 2011 Where: Meeting - National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, UK Accommodation: The Windmill Village Hotel, Coventry, UK We are delighted to announce the first SMEthane Project Workshop organized by Aberystwyth University. The workshop will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum (www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk) and the Windmill Village Hotel (www.windmillvillagehotel.co.uk) both a stone's throw away from Birmingham International Airport (UK). The program will start at 14’00 pm on the 21st and finish by 15’00 pm on the 22nd.A more detailed program of the workshop will be announced shortly. The Workshop intends to outline the significant contribution of the ruminant livestock sector in the emissions of greenhouse gas emissions and the negative impact that this have both for the environment and the animal productivity. Every company may invite 4 customers to attend the workshop with accommodation expenses fully covered by the project. List of attendees need to be completed by 1st September 2011.
