  3. Module 3: Explaining why shake program is a more practicable way to get proper nutrition

  4. To explain practicability, explain how easy it is to prepare. For MEALS, either of the two ways: 1. Blender Preparation 2. Shaker Preparation For SNACKS, Shake + Water Answers “Why is your program preferable than other programs?”

  5. In a blender, mix in: ½ CUP COLD OR LUKE WARM WATER 1 SACHET OR 2 TBSP SHAKE MIX 2 TBSP INSTANT OATS 1/3-1/2 LAKATAN BANANA Blend for 3-5 minutes, or until FROTHY. Then add 3-4 cubes of ICE, and blend again for a few seconds. Blender Preparation

  6. Add in 240-250 ml or 8 oz. of any of the ff. liquid: - non fat milk - soya milk - fruit juice without sugar e.g. buko water - yoghurt drink Then pour in a sachet or 2 Tbsp of the shake mix. Add in ice cubes if desired. Shake vigorously. Shaker preparation

  7. In a shaker, pour in 240 ml water with 1 sachet or 2 Tbsp shake mix. Shake vigorously. Note: Many find this mix good as a snack replacement. Clients usually do not last 4 to 5 hours with this mixture. Shake mix with water only

  8. Interpreting monitors:1. Recognize weight loss.2. Fat % plateau does not always mean nothing is happening3. Muscle mass decrease is bad4. Water % increase is good and helps speed up weight loss5. increased muscle without weight loss is still good. It’s healthy.
