  4. About My SAE • Diversified Livestock Proficiency • A horse, five cattle, and two pigs. • Responsibilities • Feed and take care of them • Learned responsibility and time management

  5. Pig Responsibilities • Clip before fair • Wash frequently to prevent staining • Walk and exercise • Feed and water

  6. Beef Activities • Tame them to lead • Groom and give baths • Show my steer, heifer, and cow/calf pair at the County Fair. • Feed and water • Name them My steer Cap My heifer Mocha

  7. Horse Activities • Show horses at local, district, and state shows. • Clip them before a show • Feed them grain • Use to move cows • Favorite events are speed events Taco and Pretty Girl

  9. What’s So Great About FFA? • Participating in CDE’s and activities • Horse judging, public speaking, national and state convention, WLC, etc. • Meet new people and make friends • Make new memories and experiences. • Ag classes like Animal Science is fun.

  10. In the Future… • Applying to K-State • Majoring in Elementary Education • Minoring in Animal Science • Want to train horses and raise cows. • I want to travel to Australia and South Korea.
