  2. Introduction JEE Main is an entrance exam conducted by CBSE for candidates interested in pursuing engineering. Candidate needs to clear this exam to get admission in one of the top institutes such as IITs, IIITs, and NITs along with other technical institutions. More than 11.86 lakh students have registered for the examination in 2017, with nearly 9.56 lakh students answering the pen and paper exam, and about 1.65 lakh students opting for the computer-based exam. Going forward, JEE will be the sole entrance exam for engineering admissions throughout the country.

  6. JEE 2018 Counselling The admission will be offered on the basis of the candidates’ all India rank and their choices. This is done through the seat allocation process. Selected candidates are called for counseling and further interviews before final selection.
