About XAT XAT is one of the most popular entrance examinations, like CAT and MAT, and a number of students appear for this exam for admission to XLRI or to other XAT colleges that accept the scores.
This Year The 2017 XAT was held on January 8, in 47 test centers across India. The scorecard and the answer key were released on January 16. XLRI has also announced their official cutoff for XAT - 1. Business Management – 96 2. Human Resource – 92.55 3. Global MBA Program – Marks above 22 Other XAT colleges have their own cutoff parameters.
Factors Affecting the Cutoff Like every year, the cutoffs are decided based on a number of different factors. Of these, the most important are: 1. The level of difficulty of the examination 2. The number of students who appeared for the test 3. The Cutoffs from last year are also taken into consideration 4. The number of seats that are offered for the different programmes
Admission Process Candidates who have been shortlisted for XLRI and other XAT colleges, based on the marks they secured in the exam have to next appear at the institutes for group discussion, personal interviews, and WAT rounds.
