  1. Your Guide to JEE Main Exam 2017 JEE or the Joint Entrance Examination is a two tier examination – Main and Advanced. The JEE Main Exam 2017 is regulated by the CBSE Board. Aspirants can secure admissions to B. Tech /B. Arch programs offered by the NITs, IIITs, and other engineering institutions, through the JEE Main exam, and to the IIT courses through the JEE Advanced exam. For a clearer perspective on the JEE Main Exam 2017,here are some things that you need to know- 1.JEE Main Exam 2017 important dates Download Admit Card – 14th March JEE Main, offline exam – 2nd April JEE Main, online exam – 8th & 9th April Release of answer keys – 18th– 20th April Result declaration (paper 1) – 27th April Declaration of All India Rank for JEE Main (Paper 2) – 27th May Counseling schedule – first week of July, 2017 2.JEE Main Exam 2017 eligibility criteria Age criteria – Candidates born on or after October 01, 1992 are eligible to sit for the JEE Main Exam 2017 (relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, and PWD category) Educational criteria – oB.E/ B. Tech

  2. Aspirants should have completed 12th standard with a minimum of 75% marks (10% of relaxation for SC/ST candidates). The aspirants must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject (any one). oB. Arch/ B. Planning Aspirants must have secured 50% marks with Mathematics as the main subject, including five subjects from a recognized board. 3.JEE Main Exam 2017 B.E/ B. Tech paper pattern The duration of the paper is 3 hours and consists of 90 questions. There are 3 sections, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each featuring 30 questions. 4.JEE Main Exam 2017 B.Arch./ B. Planning paper pattern The duration of the paper is 3 hours. There are 3 sections, Mathematics (30 questions), Aptitude (50 questions), and part 3 has 2 questions, carrying 70 marks. 5.JEE Main Exam 2017 marking scheme 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ¼ marks i.e. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
