Requirements For certificates Associate’s degree • Programs can take 6-12 months to complete. • certificate programs include and internship where students can build hands-on catering experience with a local company. • Typical course work: food preparation, sanitation and safety, and catering. • Associates degree in culinary management is a 2-year program that focuses on food preparations, food service, and business principles. • Complete an internship with local catering agencies or other food service establishments where they receive culinary training. • Ex.
