The Sower Based on Luke 8:4-8
Jesus told this story. This story is a parable. It comes from the bible. The bible is a group of sacred stories. This story is a Gospel story. This story comes from the the Gospel of Luke.
When a great crowd had gathered and people from town after town came to him he told this parable.
Some fell on the path and the birds came and gobbled them up.
Some other seeds fell on rocky places which were all stony and dry, and the crop would not grow.
Some of the other seed fell among thorny plants. The seeds grew, but the thorny plants grew up and they choked the good plants.
Some of the seeds fell into the good soil and when it grew it produced a hundred fold .
As he said this he called out “Let anyone with ears to hear listen.”
