7. Sinned Against God Saul David 2One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful. . . 4 . . . She came to him, and he slept with her. 5 . . . The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant." 15 (David) wrote, "Put Uriah in the front line where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die." 2 Samuel (5:13) 11:2-15 7Then Saul attacked the Amalekites all the way from Havilah to Shur, to the east of Egypt . . . . 9But Saul and the army spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs-- everything that was good. These they were unwilling to destroy completely, but everything that was despised and weak they totally destroyed. 1 Samuel 15:7-9
