3 Vincent Rager worked as a Clinical Psychology Advanced Practicum Trainee from August 2013 to June 2014 at McKinley Children’s Center, Canyon View School, San Dimas, CA.
4 While working there, he provided individual psychotherapy for diverse, high-risk youth ages 10–19 years old with a great range of co-occurring mental illnesses, special education needs, recurrent aggressive behavior, and chronic medical conditions in a non-traditional, fractional residential school- based setting.
5 Vincent Rager also played a great role in terms of carrying out specialized crisis prevention and intervention procedures independently and collaboratively with school and law enforcement officials to provide immediate environmental safety measures, dispatching necessary medical and law enforcement personnel, and providing immediate risk prevention, intervention, and management plans.
6 Vincent Rager attended the training conferences to enhance his experience that include “Truvada Medication and Care Symposium,” University of California Los Angeles, Bakersfield, CA back in June 2018, “Counseling Theories,” Continuing Education and Certificate Training, Gainesville, FL in January 2017 and “Legal and Ethical Issues for Mental Health Professionals,” Kinetic Video, Mill Valley, CA in November 2016.
