DROPOUT PREVENTION • Dropout: State Board Policy HSP-Q-001 • Any Student Who Leaves School for Any Reason Before Graduation or Completion of a Program of Studies Without Transferring to Another Elementary or Secondary School • For Reporting Purposes, a Dropout is a Student Who Was Enrolled at Some Time During the Previous School Year, But Who Was Not Enrolled on Day 20 of the Current School Year. • A Dropout is a Student Who is Not a Transfer and Leaves School Before Earning a Diploma.
