Dutchman’s Creek Baseline Study of Water Quality Parameters Ashwaubenon High School (Teacher: Dan Albert) and Boys and Girls Club (Carolina Bacelis ) • STRESSORS to keep an eye on: • Environmental impacts of nearby quarry • Rate and type of development around Hidden Valley site • Possible development on old Associated Bank Headquarters • ASSOCIATED BANK SITE: • Mid-density urban development • Office space for businesses • Adjacent busy bus line and major highway • Dense residential neighborhood OF GREEN BAY Associated Bank • HIDDEN VALLEY SITE: • Low-density urban development • 50% agricultural and 35% urban • Along a 19-acre park with walking/biking trail • Less than 1.5 miles from international airport • Neighborhood is changing to allocate more urban development Hidden Valley Park NEXT STEPS : Survey of stream flora and fauna, description of soil type and strata, in-stream habitat assessment, stream reach map, photo point monitoring of each site.
