Survey Outline • We used questionnaire “8 questions”. • Survey subject is29 students from the university of Maryland. Male(12) Female(17) • Age(18- 40)
1- Do you agree that “TV influences children ( 6~15 ages ) more than other media”?
2- If you say “yes”, do violent and sexual TV programs contribute to children’s violent and sexism?
3-if you say “no”, what kind of media is the most harmful to children? a. video game b. internet c. movie d. all of those
4- Have you heard of any cases in which violent or sexual TV programs influenced children?(for example, increasing youth crime rate) • Kids imitating characters or stunts in their home or school • School shooting, fighting • Rude behavior D. The kids personalities, they spend much time watching TV E. Increases them to start sexual encounter at young age
5- Why are there so many violent and sexual programs on TV? • make money, for ratings • interesting, exciting, entertaining • more viewers • attention, appeal to human nature • Demand, the public enjoys watching them

Conclusions In today’s society there is a lot of different types of media that effect our children both positively and negatively. It is our jobs as parents and adults to regulate and make sure that the negative influences are not the ones to prevail. We need to help our children develop both physically and mentally in a way that gives them the best possible chance at a bright future. Media is only going to keep evolving and targeting our children. We need to keep ourselves updated on all the new technologies so we can help our children make good decisions.
