  2. In Store Installation by Micro SDcard • STEP1- Preparation Download the Demo SW to micro SD card • STEP2- In Store Installation • Image Update • Demo App installation • Appendix – 3 steps to become Live Demo

  3. STEP1. Preparation – Download Demo App Package • Prepare 2G micro SD card for each modelNote: 1 micro SD card for 1 model!

  4. STEP1. Preparation – Download Demo App Package • Download “ME301_WW_Demo_Apps.zip” from “ASUS DEMO Program Resource Site” to the Micro SD card • Link : http://www.asus.com/microsite/demo/default.htm

  5. STEP1. Preparation – Download Demo App Package • *Unzip ME301_WW_Demo_Apps.zip to the Micro SD card *Choose [Extract Here] to unzip ME301_WW_Demo_Apps.zip file and copy [Movies], [Screensaver] folder, [demoapp.abu] and [WW_epad-user-10.4.5.27.10.zip] files to MicroSDcard

  6. Step 2. In Store Installation Before you start • Make sure the Demo unit is charged with adapter. • Click [Setting] -> [Storage] to Make sure Demo unit has enough storage space above 2 GB. ((if not please go to [Settings]  [Backup & reset]  [Factory data reset]) • Insert the micro SD card while the device is power off, otherwise Demo unit cant read micro SD card.

  7. Step 2. In Store Installation – Update latest image 1/3 2. Press [Power Button] to boot up machine 3. Click icon on the right down corner 1. Insert the micro SD card and Press [Power Button]

In Store Installation – Update latest image 1/3 * If icon didn’t show on the right down corner, please go to [Settings]  [About tablet]  check [Build number] * Make sure [Build number] region JRO03C.WW_epad-10.4.5.27.10-20130305 same as the file WW_epad-user-10.4.5.27.10.zip download from “ASUS DEMO Program Resource Site” * If [Build number]: JRO03C.WW_epad-10.4.5.27.10-20130305 is newer (no. is bigger) than the file WW_epad-user-10.4.5.27.10.zip download from “ASUS DEMO Program Resource Site”, please skip the following steps and directly go to page 11, Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Demo App 1/4

  9. Step 2. In Store Installation - Update latest image 2/3 4. Click [System update detected] 5. Click [ok] to confirm

  10. Step 2. In Store Installation - Update latest image 3/3 6. Click [ok] to confirm and wait for reboot 7.Make sure [System update success] - Click icon on the right down corner

  11. Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Demo App 1/4 1. 2. 3. 4. • Wait for reboot and setting (google account) • Go to Apps list and click [App Backup] • Scroll down End User License Agreement page and click [ok] • Click [x]

  12. Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Demo App 2/4 7. 5. 6. 8. 5. Make sure the same micro SD card in micro SD card slot 6. Click [Restore List] 7. Click [Select the backup file] icon 8. Click [MicroSD]

  13. Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Demo App 3/4 8. 9. 10. 8. Choose [demoapp.abu] file 9. Confirm [ok] 10. Enter password [1234] and click [ok]

  14. Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Demo App 4/4 13. 14. 11. 12. 11. Confirm [Restore] 12. Confirm [ok] 13. Wait for Processing 14. Restore process is completed and click [ok]

  15. Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Content 1. 2. 3. 4. • Go to Apps list and click [File Manager] • Click [MicroSD] • Click [Movies] & [Screensaver] and click [COPY] • Click [Internal Storage] and click [PASTE] • (click [OK] to agree to replace with the new one)

  16. Step 2. In Store Installation – Install Content 5. 6. 7. 8. 5. Go to Apps list and click Demo Agent icon[TimeRecordo] 6. Click [start Time Record Service] 7. Screensaver will start playing and touch the screen to go to download page 8. Click [Start Tutorial] and wait for loading – Finish ** please unplug MicroSD card

  17. Step 2. In Store Installation – Check Check if there’re 9 videos, 1 Html.zip and 1 Subtitle.zip files in [Movies] folder at [My Storage]

  18. App locker Before using App locker 1. Make sure the brightness is max, [setting]  [Display]  [Brightness] 2. Go back to [setting] [ASUS Customized Setting] 3. Disable the “Use ASUS Quick Setting” 1. 3. 2.

  19. Lock setting • To prevent user delete demo app, use app locker to lock “setting” 3. 1. 2. 4. 1. 2. 3. • Turn on the App locker • Key in the password “8777” • Enable App locker -> Select [Setting] -> Go back • Check the locked setting

Appendix: 3 steps to become Live Demo • If demo stores have Internet connection, Regular Demo can become Live Demo • Enable Internet connection * Make sure demo stores disable router Firewall 2. Collect MAC address and Serial No. 3. Create ecommerce account and key in MAC address and Serial No.

  28. Appendix: 3 steps to become Live Demo p5/6 • Registered successfully If registered successfully, then system will respond a message here And the machine status will be shown as “New” here.

  29. Appendix: 3 steps to become Live Demo p6/6 • Registered failed Then the page will be refreshed as blank . If fail to registered, then system will respond with a message here. • Please make sure S/No. and Mac address key-in correctly
