  2. A visit to an old people’shome Last Friday, my classmates and I went to ChoiHung to visit the elders’ home. We had a great time with the elders. We performed a lot of fantastic performances, including piano, violin and figure skipping performances. Sometimes their responses were very surprising. When my classmates and I performed the recorder show, we played some traditional songs. Suddenly I forgot a part of the melody. The elders clapped their hands because they thought the show was ended.

  3. After the performances, we chatted a lot with the elders. An old man told us the miserable story about the Sino-Japanese war period. He also told us the horrible Christmas in Hong Kong in 1941. I thought that he was lucky as he survived the war. Finally it was time to leave. The elders said the performances were marvelous. We felt very proud.
