CHIMEB, the Professional Web site for Materials • Established by China Materials Research Society in 1997 • Sponsored by Ministry for Science and Technology, Ministry for Education, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Related Ministries of China • Aimed to publish national news of research, education and development on materials via internet.

  4. CHIMEB, the professional Web site for Materials • CHIMEB is the first Web site in China concerning the professional education and the information on science and technology. It presents the trends of current internet development and complies with national strategy of developing information industry at the course of developing science and technology. CHIMEB will be or is playing an important role in collecting and spreading materials information on national science and technology development in China and abroad, and providing helps to overseas Chinese scholars to work for or to return to China. • To make a bridge to enhance communication between academic organizations in China and other countries.
