What does Software Customer Service do? • Software registration, licensing, support contract maintenance, coordinate release shipments • Order entry, change orders, backlog maintenance • Focal point at Xilinx for all customer backlog status, PO expedites, and shipping information • Communicate lead time quotes on software products • Issue RMA numbers and order replacement parts • Warranty report generation for field sales support

  3. Customer Service Mission Strive daily to improve customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty. To the customer….we are the company!

Customer Service Update • Next physical software release: Carnelian 2.1I, ship date is scheduled for early July and will ship to all “In Warranty” customers • FlexLM license is required for the following: FND-BSX and FND-EXP • DS maintenance: BAS/BSX comes with 90 days, STD/EXP comes with 1 year • Encourage customers to register their s/w to receive free software updates • Aspect phone system: average call wait time is 45 seconds before answered
