Who is ALLAH ? • To define key words SHIRK and TAWHID • To explain what Allah is like for Muslims • To compare these ideas to what Christianity teaches about God Muslims use a chain of 99 beads (a TASBIH) - a bit like a rosary. Each of the 99 beads stands for one way of describing God. “Allah the Merciful”… How many ways can you describe God in 90 secs ?

  5. Key Words TAWHID • The belief that Allah is ONE (ONE as in totally unique, separate, different from any created thing, changed or influenced). SHIRK • Because God is ONE, it is the sin of SHIRK to say that something or someone is inany way like God. This sin is unforgiveable. “God does not forgive associating anything with Himself”. (Sura 4:116)
