Key Accomplishments forthe 2004-5 Year • Held most successful IR workshop to date • Provided member-driven chapter programs • Arranged alternate program times and locations to meet needs of membership • Generated regular media promotion of chapter events; cross-promoted with area organizations • Further streamlined the Board process • Enhanced chapter website; kept up-to-date • Promoted more effective communication with NIRI and other chapters NIRI Chicago 2005 Annual Meeting

  10. 2004-5 Goals – Progress: Community • Create stronger sense of community among NIRI-Chicago members • Networking events: Held 3 casual, small-group get-togethers in northern and western suburbs and downtown. Well received. Attracted members who cannot usually attend meetings. • Website: Enhanced and kept the site up-to-date to make it a valuable resource for chapter news and information.   12. 2004-5 Goals – Progress: Volunteer Network • Establish an active Volunteer Network • Membership poll: Solicited volunteers during membership poll • Provided new resource: Calling trees • New leaders discovered: Volunteers now taking bigger roles in committees, increasing member participation in chapter.
