  2. Reception • Front area where clients check in • Play area for children • Receptionists answers phone, schedules appointments, and handles paying.

  3. Stations • Approximately 8 stations in shop • Each contains products used to style • Combs, Brushes, Picks • Gels, Hair Spray, Mouse • Each cart station contains scissors, blow-dryers, rollers, perm rods, capes, and brushes.

  4. Shampoo Area • Bowls for washing hair • Shampoos are located on shelf with above cabinets full of towels. • Hair Dryers are also located in this area.

  5. Waxing • The room contains: • Reclined Chair • Waxes • Heaters • Strips • Lotions • Hand mirrors

  6. Dispensary • Area where colors and dyes are stored • Developers are also stored in this location • Color Charts are located on the back wall • Areas to wash out color bowls

  7. What I Achieved.. • I was able to work with the public and gain communication skills. • I learned more information on a career I was interested in possibly pursuing one day. • If I could go back, I would choose to job shadow a Physical Therapist
