What is Structured Cabling System (SCS) ?什麼是結構化佈線系统(SCS) ? • A set of cabling and connectivity products that integrates the voice, data, video, and various management systems of a building (such as safety alarms, security access, energy systems, etc.). • 結構化布線是指在一座辦公大樓或樓群中安裝的傳輸線路。這種布網線路能布蓋所有的語音、影音、監控與管理系統等設備.（如:安全警報，安全監控，能源控制系統，等等。）

Telecommunications Spaces 電信空間 a) Telecommunications Rooms are where various telecommunications and data equipment resides, connecting the backbone and horizontal cabling sub-systems. 電信機房配備完整的電信、機電、資料庫等設備、聯接管理主幹或水平子系统 b) Equipment Roomshost equipment which serves the users inside the building.中心機房配備專放服務器等、電信配備等，主要提供建築內部電信服務用途 c) Entrance Facilitiesis where the building interfaces with the outside world. 工作區子系統是一個從信息插座延伸至終端設備的區域。 d) Telecommunications Enclosureis a case or housing for telecommunications equipment, cable terminations, and cross-connect cabling. 配線架是管理子系統中最重要的組件，是實現垂直幹線和水平布線兩個子系統交叉連接的樞紐。

2) Horizontal Distribution System水平布線分配系统 Some points specified for the horizontal cabling subsystem include: 幾點水平線纜預備系統的具有特殊特性: • Recognized Horizontal Cables: 成功的水平布線分配系統具備了： • 4-pair 100 Ω unshielded twisted-pair非屏蔽雙絞線(UTP) or screened twisted-pair外屏蔽雙絞線布線(F/UTP). • 4-pair 100 Ω fully shielded twisted-pair屏蔽式線布線(S/FTP). • 2-fiber纖維(duplex) 62.5/125µm or 50/125µm multimode optical fiber多模光纖. • Horizontal cable 水平電纜90m (295 ft.) max. total . • Horizontal cabling shall be configured in a star topology. 星型拓撲運用在水平布線子系統 • Patch cords/cross-connect jumpers used in the HC, including equipment cables/cords, should not exceed 5m (16 ft.).信息跳接線／交接跳線使用在HC，長度不可超過５米 • Bridged taps and splices are not allowed for copper-based horizontal cabling. 2) Horizontal Distribution System 水平布網分配系统 Some points specified for the horizontal cabling subsystem include: 水平布網子系統的特有屬性: • One transition point (TP) or Consolidation Point (CP) is allowed. • 只營許轉移點與集合點 • Avoid sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI) • 禁止電磁幹擾 • A minimum of two telecommunications outlets are required for each individual work area. Recommended 3 nos. • 每個工作區域至少有二個電信輸出分部. • Adapter (eg. splitters, baluns) must be placed external to the telecommunications outlet or horizontal crossconnect. • 轉移器 (如:源分分器, 平衡转换器) 一定要放置外部的電信輸出分部或水平線的交叉連接上
