Medieval Art. Kourtney oehm. This period happened around 6 th century to the 15 th , a little bit after Jesus. A lot of the influences had to do with religion. The heritage of the romans and the church. But there were some pieces from this time period that wasn’t religious.

  2. This period happened around 6th century to the 15th, a little bit after Jesus. • A lot of the influences had to do with religion. The heritage of the romans and the church. But there were some pieces from this time period that wasn’t religious. • If you look at a lot of the pictures you will see that it looks like a story that would come from the bible.

  3. Romanesque, Celtic, Gothic are the top themes . • They used fresco paintings. Egg and powder mix was used in the wall. Colors were limited. • women were limited to what they could paint/ make they mainly did manuscripts.

  4. This time period was very important because you saw a lot of good art. • everything they drew or painted was for your religious beliefs. • Medieval art had many types. Carvings, sculptures or being seen on tombs and castles.
