Recycled content – No benefit Due to the overall limited availability of metal scrap, any attempt to increase the recycled content in one particular product would just result in decreasing the recycling content accordingly in another. It would also certainly result in inefficiency in the global optimization of the scrap market, as well as wasting transportation energy. The focus should be on having all metals collected after use for recycling – a HIGH RECYCLING RATE brings benefits.
