  1. And Come Back Why People Don’t Truly Go To Heaven

  2. Paul went to Heaven & he was forbidden to discuss what he saw (2 Cor 12:1-4) • Confirmed by miracles (2 Cor 12:11-12)

  3. John went to Heaven & he was only allowed to see signs (symbols) & to discuss the purpose for those signs (Rev 1:1-3) • Jesus, protect or punish (Rev 22:6-7, 12-14) • Repentance, then encouragement (Rev 2-3)

  4. The truth of Scripture rests on God’s proofs not personal testimony (2 Peter 1:16-21) • No backup witnesses required.

  5. Human testimony about Heaven contradicts or adds to Scripture testimony • Judgment Day first (Heb 9:27; 2 Cor 5:10-11; Rev 20:11-15; Matt 25:31-33)

  6. False prophets (Jer 14:14, 23:25, 23:32; Ezek 13:6, 13:8-9, 21:29, 22:28; Zech 10:2) • Isaiah 8:19-20 …Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn[no light in them].

  7. Human testimony about Heaven is conflicting • “I went to Heaven and it was all about me!” • “No, it was all about me!”

  8. Jeremiah 14:14 Then the Lord said to me, “The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility & the deception of their own minds.”

  9. Jeremiah 23:32 “Behold, I am against those who have prophesied false dreams,” declares the Lord, “and related them & led My people astray by their falsehoods & reckless boasting; yet I did not send them or command them, nor do they furnish this people the slightest benefit,” declares the Lord.
