ARRA Reporting Requirements • TEGL 17-08, dated April 23, 2009 • Provides an overview on Section 1512 reporting requirements • Provides ETA-9130 reporting instructions
ARRA ETA-9130 Financial Reports • ETA is requiring separate 9130 reports for each of the ARRA funding streams: • Statewide Youth, Adult, and Dislocated Worker activities • Statewide administrative and Rapid Response activities • Local Youth, Adult and Dislocated worker activities • Wagner-Peyser activities
ARRA Financial Reports • This is “business as usual” for ETA grant recipients • Same schedule (45 days after quarter end) • Same electronic system (Grantee Reporting System) • An additional 9130 report required for each funding stream using new codes
Life of Funds The reports are required as long as the funding stream exists.
Schedule for ARRA-related Financial Reports • The first ARRA-related ETA-9130 report is for the quarter ending March 31, 2009 • This first report was due May 15, 2009
Grantee Reporting System • ETA grantees currently use the online reporting system • Grantees will login and create reports as they currently do • Detailed instructions for filling out the ETA-9130 are online http://www.doleta.gov/grants/financial_reporting.cfm
Grantee Reporting System • The Grantee Reporting System has been modified to enable reporting for new Recovery Act subaccounts. • These codes are available in the Grantee Reporting System for completing the reports. • Use the appropriate ETA 9130 reporting form specific to the type of funds awarded.
Things to consider Don’t forget to update your chart of accounts Make sure that the local fund-recipients get instructions on new reports
