  2. Spring Applied DC Brake - "K" Series The brake model K is a spring applied DC brake. It has been designed to stop rotational movement of the machine shaft. However the user must ensure that the brake is sized accordingly. Please contact our office for technical application assistance. • Very strong structure • Very quiet in operating (< 70 dBa) • Simple to install and easy to maintain • Good heat dissipation • The coil is fully encased in an epoxy resin • The mechanical parts are protected by zinc plating • Hand release is on request.
