  2. Challenge • Eliminate duplication between iPAWS and QuickBase. • Need to update Role & Scope • Need to have all positions reflected in iPAWS. • UGA HR heading towards using iPAWS for evaluation submission.

  3. Process • 4/22 - Committee discussion – Baines, Brooks, Chandler, Hilliard, Katz, Latimer, L. Smith, Zimmer. • 5/14 - XLT presentation • 6/17 - Recommendation to use iPAWS as authoritative source for Role & Scope

  4. FBS HR office will distribute the Access Request Template along with your organizational structure. Directors will complete and return to FBS HR. FBS HR & UGA HR will update Manager/Supervisor access in iPAWS with a completion date of July 31, 2008. Manager/Supervisor to update Role & Scope in iPAWS with a completion date of August 31, 2008. Next Steps

  5. Helpful Hints • Keep Role & Scope current. • Search by employee’s last name. • Role & Scope = Duties/Responsibility • Employee name changes cannot be updated by the manager/supervisor in iPAWS. Inform EITS’ HR office. • Budget position numbers can only be updated by UGA’s HR office.
