Feedback and Marking • Children will continue work with Grey Mouse and White Mouse to ensure they challenge themselves and develop good characteristics of learning • Children will continue to work on their next steps – green for growth • For each lesson children will have a learning objective (LO). When they meet these or show examples of the LO, their work is ‘tickled pink’ !

Numeracy • Number work: number bonds • place value (HTO) • Calculations: + - ÷ x • Counting in 2, 5, 10 • Reasoning and solving problems • Counting to 100 • Writing numbers to 100 (digits) • Fractions • 2D and 3D Shapes • Measuring length, weight, capacity • Mathematical vocabulary • Using tools and equipment

  5. Literacy • Reading • Writing • Grammar (SPAG) • Speaking and Listening • Handwriting: presentation, simple joins • Writing expectations • Reading comprehension tasks • Spellings sent home each week

Phonics • Alternative spellings to previous sounds taught (increasing ‘sound bank’) • New pronunciations/ sounds (split-digraphs/trigraphs) • Clusters • Polysyllabic • Vowels • Spellings – ing, ed, s • Tricky words (TW) and High Frequency Words (HFW) • Phonics Screening Check • Alien words a_e e_e i_e o_e u_e
