  1. B. Wind Instruments 1. Khlui – is a vertical duct flute made of bamboo, hardwood or plastic.

  2. 2. Wot – is a circular pan-pipe used in Northern Thailand, played b y holding between the hands, and while rotating, blow downwards into the pipes.

  3. 3. Khaen – is a mouth organ whose pipes are usually made of bamboo.

  4. 4. Pi mon – is a large double-reed oboe detachable metal bell; used for funeral music.

  5. C. Stringed Instruments 1. Jakhe – is a crocodile-shaped fretted floor zither with three strings.

  6. 2. Saw u – is made of coconut shell and it has two strings that are played with bow.

  7. 3. Khim – is made of wood and trapezoidal in shape. There are 14 groups of strings and each group has 3 strings. It is played with two flexible bamboo sticks with soft leather at the tips to produce soft tone.
