Many people were judged by the color of their color… if you were black you would have to get certain restrictions… if you white you could get treated fairly…… (most of the time) and that was one of the reasons that almost kept Marian Anderson from achieving her dreams but did that stop her!!! NO…. She kept on trying and trying and that’s how she is known today- because of her faith and her wonderful voice.  B is for Boundary

Appearing at a recital in Salzburg Australia, Marian was told that Arturo Toscanini was in the audience which she was performing in. “I was nervous as a beginner.” she recalled. “ The sight of him made my heart leap.” When the performance was over he gave her a comment .... “It was yours that was a voice..
