I’m doing my project on Marian Anderson.Her singing of triumph and equality came to great deal. Starting from a seven year old to an old person she was one of the reasons why the heart-aching of African Americans and unfairness is now forbidden…… the Civil Rights!!!!! Introduction

Many people were judged by the color of their color… if you were black you would have to get certain restrictions… if you white you could get treated fairly…… (most of the time) and that was one of the reasons that almost kept Marian Anderson from achieving her dreams but did that stop her!!! NO…. She kept on trying and trying and that’s how she is known today- because of her faith and her wonderful voice. B is for Boundary
Carnegie hall is a big deal to Marian Anderson….. Do you now Why???? Well obviously you don’t!!!!! Let me tell you… This is where she first preformed. Appearing at a recital in Salzburg Australia, Marian was told that Arturo Toscanini was in the audience which she was performing in. “I was nervous as a beginner.” she recalled. “ The sight of him made my heart leap.” When the performance was over he gave her a comment .... “It was yours that was a voice.. Marian Anderson was one of many African Americans to get the Medal of Honor. But what was so special about that was she got honored for her singing and many people don’t get that. Marian Anderson was an excellent performer. She would always look into the people’s eyes and connect with them. She would sometimes even cry and make the feeling of the crowd go emotional. People described Marian’s voice as rich. When they say rich they mean breath-taking, absolutely astonishing or lovable and gracious.
