Regional Seminar on Developing A Program for the Implementationof the2008 SNA and Supporting Statistics 11-13 September 2013 / Ankara - Turkey STRATEGIC PLANS OF TURKSTAT The performance measurement of 2012-2016 Strategic Planis being made through the performance programs prepared annually depending on the plan. Monitoring and evaluation of performance tables on spending units in which performance objectives, indicators, budgets and activities are defined, are being made in the middle and end of the year, and then the success level of the annual performance program and also, the success rate of the plan as the implementation period are being identified.

Vision :Establishing a user focus and sustainable statistical system based on international standards.

Improving the role of the Institution on enabling stakeholder institutions’ statistical production with quality standards within the scope of Official Statistics Program 2. Increasing and enabling the cooperation with international institutions and organizations 3. Increasing awareness and use of statistics in society, and to strengthen the confidence in statistics

The institution aims the effective promotion and transfer of information in the abroad by applying technical assistance programs and statistical cooperation projects for developing countries or country groups.

These projects include a wide spectrum of data collection activities, equipment procurement, recruitment of consultancy services, study visits, international meetings, training and participation to internship programs.
