  4. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 May God Himself the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and bodybe kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  5. 2. It’s a language of the spirit People are made of three parts: body, soul and spirit. Tongues bypasses your mind and flows from your spirit.

  6. Romans 8:26-In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

  9. 4 There’s a difference between the public gift and the private grace. Tongues can refer to the gift of tongues which needs to be interpreted in public gatherings and tongues as a prayer language.

  10. 5. It’s a choice you can control it As with any gift you need to cooperate with the Holy Spirit It’s you yielding your tongue to the Spirit.

  11. 6. Praying in the spirit is different than regular prayer Paul says I pray with my spirit (tongues) and I pray with my mind (what we normally think of as prayer) Is it possible that the spirit has more understanding of spiritual things then your mind?

  12. FINAL QUESTIONS REAL FAST 1.Do I have to speak in tongues? You don’t have to but you get to.

  13. 2. Can every believer speak in tongues? It appears that all Christians who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit have a prayer language.

  14. 3.Is it always the evidence of being filled with the Spirit? Bible doesn’t seem to specifically say that
