  6. PE/Health • How diet impacts overall health • Balancing exercise with nutritional intake • Comparing My Plate to diets around the world

  7. World Language • Specific diet of French or Spanish speaking countries and how it impacts their economic growth and political stability (Sub Saharan countries) • What they eat and how they avoid hunger

  8. Community Service • Putting faces to the Soup Kitchen • Students create “bowls for hunger” and generate ideas for serving their community with the bowls (selling/donating, creating food baskets with bowls)
