  2. Vision and Mission Vision Statement: To employ information communication technologies to fully equip refugees located in Kenya with the opportunities and resources to rebuild their lives. Mission Statement: To facilitate the collaboration of existing NGOs in Kenyan refugee camps to encourage a more multi-dimensional approach for the betterment of refugees. We will accomplish this through the provision of web-based employment services specifically for internally displaced persons. http://kanere.org/about-kakuma-refugee-camp

  3. Expected Results (5 Year Plan) • Year 1: Design website following extensive field research • kenyanjobs.co.ke • Year 2: Begin planning for conferences while monitoring the success of the website • Years 3-5: Host annual networking conferences • Connecting the Vessels of Development 2017

Partnerships • Microsoft assists to foster sustainable economic growth in developing countries • Stephen Lewis Foundation believes in “turning the tide,” and acknowledges that we are doing the same with IDPs through the use of ICTs • Community Technology Access (CTA), a division of the UNHCR, strives to providing refugees with the tools necessary for achieving long-term independence
