  2. Why do people visit Washington D.C. ? To see amazing sites and have a lot of fun. Or for the jobs and to live there. They visit because of the historical monuments like the white house. 

  3. Why does the president live at the White House? Becauseit is the best situated place to provide the security. It has enough workers for the president.

  4. Can people visit the White House? People can only visit if the White House is open for visitors. People would have to write a ticket from your senator.

  5. How long was the white house standing? The white house was standing from 1792 through 1800 and went through many upgrades and its still standing now.

  6. Can people stay over night at the white house? IF the white house is open for visitors. Or you would have to get a note from your senator. The visitors have rooms to play in.
