  2. Goal • Review basic procedures on: • Packaging & labeling • LAND bags • LAND usage statistics • Reporting problems • LAND Advisory Committee

  3. Packaging and Labeling • Each participant is issued reusable zippered nylon bags. • Include name of institution, city, 3 letter abbreviation for hub, and date on label so that it shows through the window on the bag. • Complete mailing address not needed.

  4. Reminders • LAND is a closed system. Be careful not to send materials to non participants by LAND. • Be sure to use the correct hub. There is a hub list on the Nylink web site.

  5. Need LAND Bags? • If you need additional blue LAND bags, contact Nylink using the form on the Nylink web site. http://nylink.org/delivery/

  6. Have Extra LAND Bags? • If you have extra blue LAND bags, please send them to Karen Paugh at Binghamton University.

  9. LAND Usage Worksheet • The LAND Usage Worksheet is an Excel file that you can use to calculate your LAND usage by entering the number of bags and items that you send out each day. http://nylink.org/delivery/land_manifest.cfm

  11. Please Report LAND Problems • Do not hesitate to let Nylink know about problems. • The sooner we know about a problem, the sooner we can work with Velocity on a solution.

  12. Coming Soon – LAND Advisory Committee • Nylink will be forming a LAND Advisory Committee. • The goal is to solicit feedback on how LAND is working & look for ways to improve and grow the LAND service.
