High Performance Vehicles from Dodge Set the Parameters High in the Market Dodge has always been known for its power, however, the brand is not only restricted to this quality only. They have a long lineage of producing some of the most powerful vehicles and do not deviate from their reputation at all. The 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat has been making some brilliant moves among those who are in complete love with muscle cars across the world. However, it is indeed true that the Hellcat has received the title of the most powerful muscle car of all time, and it is something to be proud of, but Dodge is a brand which is known for the same. With more than a century of experience in the segment, Dodge has been successful in delivering some of the most high-end performance vehicles that have been in the memories of car enthusiasts. However, some of the Dodge dealers in Stuart have claimed that not all of them have been appreciated to its fullest capability. Here are some of those iconic Dodge vehicles that have always made their mark in the performance category of all time. 1968 Dart GTS 440 Dodge began their journey way back in designing and manufacturing one of the greatest sleeper cars in 1968. The first in line was the Dart GTS which had 440 cubic inches of cabin space and the Magnum V8 engine to deliver power. Available in three variants, each one of them was an addition that was worthy to be a member of the Scat Pack. However, the 440 was the only version that went as close as it could get being the legal drag car on the road. With around 375 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, the GTS 440 made it super easy to reach the 60 miles per hour mark within 5 seconds. A quarter of a mile was even easy to be reached in 13.3 seconds at 107 miles per hour. So one can have the idea how speedy the car could get. 1969 Coronet Super Bee Six Pack This was one model from Dodge which turned out to be an icon of its own, but as the Dodge engineers worked on this specific model, they decided to let themselves loose with the conventional horsepower boosting technique to increase the carburetion. Instead of having the standard Carter Quad on the 440 Magnum V8 engine which it had in the earlier models, this particular generation had the three Holley two-barrels fitted on their Edelbrock manifold- hence the nickname, Six Pack. The boost that the engine received was comfortable enough to deliver 390 horsepower and a whopping 490 lb-ft of torque. However, some of the experts found the Six Pack outperformed by the Hemi Super Bee, but the lighter engine and Hemi-grade suspension added a superb control. It goes without saying, that this was one model that gave an awesome return in the lower range of vehicles that Dodge came up with. Among the recent models, Hellcat is something that is impossible for one to not know about, and they can guess the reasons why it deliberately needs a special mention on the list as a top-performing Dodge vehicle. With an astounding power of 707 horsepower and a limited top speed of 199 miles per hour, the Challenger Hellcat is one of the extreme muscle cars Dodge has ever come up with. Dealers who both provide new, pre-owned and rental cars in Stuart are of high thoughts about the Hellcat mentioning the special qualities of the cornering abilities. The glorious days of Dodge are back once again, and there's not a single inch of compromise found in it.
