  2. PCIC Mission • To provide an international forum for the exchange of electrical applications technology relating to the petroleum and chemical industry. • To sponsor appropriate IEEE standards activity for that industry. • And to provide opportunity for professional development

PCIC Strategies • Hold PCIC Conference in locations of industry strength, rotating annually in effort to attract national and international participation • Attendees are encouraged to participate in technical activities, including authorship of papers and standards development • User, Manufacturer, Consultant, and Contractor participation will be encouraged to strengthen the technical base of the conference • PCIC will offer Tutorials directed toward “hands on” enhancement of technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

PCIC Conference Structure • A technical conference - not a trade show. • Many working groups meet in the venue prior to conference to work on API and IEEE standards • Many major end users will meet at the venue prior to the conference. • Vendor participation • Hospitality, Socials, Networking, Networking and Networking
