William’s Life • Born April 23, 1564 in Stratford-Upon- Avon, England • Died April 23, 1616 • Baptized April 26, 1564 .
Important Life Details • Married a woman named Anne Hathaway • Had 3 kids • Spent most of his time acting • Went to Stratford Grammar School • Came from a well respected family • People don't really know about his religion
Major Accomplishments • Was part of King’s Men a successful theater company • Known for being a: • Poet • Actor • Writer
Major Accomplishments • Created 38 plays , 154 sonnets, & 5 poems ; all of which became very famous • Ex. Plays: Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet,Macbeth etc... • Ex. Poems: To the Queen, Venus and Adonis • Each one of his plays were combined genres ( which was revolutionary because no one had really done that) and taught life lessons in simple yet profound ways.

Why was William Important? • William was important because he made plays that people could actually relate to back then. He really captivated human expression. • He was innovative and inspirational • Introduced new ways of writing and speaking (made new words)
