Andy Gordon - Resume Innovation Summary Summary: I have been fortunate to have worked for organizations where I have initiated and managed package innovation to support aggressive company growth objectives. Innovation discovery and execution is a passion that has allowed me to grow and contribute as a packaging engineer. My innovation accomplishments are focused in 3 categories: • Packaging systems development • Manufacturing process improvement and efficiency • Recently the development and launch of a unique technical packaging business service model Innovation programs for review and further discussion: • Research and Development of a unique medical device and package still in use for open heart surgery today • Design and manufacture of a topical prescription dosage cap and retention carton • Operations leader in the rebranding and package design of SURP technology for US food applications • Development and testing of several permeable membrane technologies for use in food and consumer products • Patented permeable membrane technology controlling organic compound transmission leading to a new package technology platform to launch several new and rebranded products • Global package innovation research and development for a major food company • Star-Kist retort pouch development in Asia and US • First application of SURP in US for Pet Food and treats • Baby food aseptic packaging in plastic in Europe • Robotic high speed automation and complete packaging line integration • Package technology licensing to aid speed to market programs • The development and commercialization of a package development consultancy to provide innovation support Confidential Property of Andrew Gordon
