  1. Andy • Set in March 24, 1984 • They live in a suburb in Chicago • Andy has an average socioeconomic background. • Does my character work? If so, at what, if not what does he/she do? • Andy lives with his mum and dad, his dad pressures' him because he wants him to get a wrestling scholarship • Andy’s heavily influenced but his dad. • Andy just doesn’t want to be there he just seems bored. • He knows Claire and he’s really defensive of her. • Andy’s really confident. • Andy’s a jock and he’s popular at school, he’s friends with Claire. • The audience should feel friendly towards Andy because he hasn’t done anything mean he’s only stuck up for Claire • In the beginning of the film you find out why Andy’s in detention, and how he is with his dad. • In the middle of the film Andy starts talking to everyone normally and gets to know them. • At the end of the film after Claire does Allison’s make up he kisses Allison. • Andy gets Claire to talk and he stands up for Claire when Bender starts shouting at her. • Andy’s about 16 • Andy doesn’t really show any emotions until he talks abot why he’s in there then he starts crying because he feels bad about what he did. • Andy’s like Buzz from Rebel Without A Cause.
